Household Cleaners "Household
cleaning products are among the most toxic substances we encounter
daily. In one study conducted over a 15 year period, women who stayed
home all day had a 54 percent higher death rate from cancer that women
who had jobs away from the home." |
Cosmetics “Buying
cosmetics is a lottery, because we're often unable to determine whether
or not hazardous chemicals are present in a product. Indeed, the identities
of up to 100 potentially persistent or allergenic chemicals are hidden
by the use of the word 'parfum' on cosmetics or toiletries.” |
Body Products By the time you leave the bathroom in the morning, you have just exposed yourself to about 200 chemicals through your body products. You have rubbed them into your skin, sending them into your body system, and you have inhaled the fumes from them. They will be with you all day. In fact, they will be with you a lot longer than that. |
